Ichiban Clothing

Ichiban Clothing is one of the new generation of UK streetwear labels born from the ashes of the Credit Crunch. Focusing on t-shirts, crew necks, snapback caps and other assorted street wear staples their ironic take on our money obsessed culture allows Ichiban Clothing to highlight not only the brash hypocrisy of our consumerism but also the simple childlike addiction we have to nostaligic imagery. Ichiban (which translates as 'Number One' in Japanese) uses iconic imagery on their tees and sweats along with original graphics to create one of the most interesting street wear and urban wear labels resident in the UK today. To add to this sense of irony and consumer disconnect they also make sure all their t shirts and crewnecks are made either out of 100% organic cotton or at least using Fair Wear Foundation accredited factories.  It is not something they publicise but then that is Ichiban Clothing- as they themselves say 'It is for those that know'.
